What: 2 Day Award Show, 2 Day Fashion Film Screening, Industry Panel Discussion, Exclusive Director’s Party

The 2022 CANIFFF festival kicked off with an exclusive "Directors Party" at IDFK studio, featuring a mesmerizing live immersive display by Issac Rayment of Awe Nest and sponsored champagne from Pommery. Following this spectacular start, the next two days were filled with screenings of the full CANIFFF 2022 nominees and engaging afternoon panel discussions that included representatives from Snap Chat Canada, TikTok Canada, a Hollywood director, and other notable figures from the fashion film industry.

The pinnacle of the festival was the two evening awards' show held at the historic Eglinton Grand Theatre. During this grand event, Henk Vanderkolk, co-founder of TIFF, and his wife Yanka Vanderkolk, Canada's original supermodel, were honored with a prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for their immense contributions to the Canadian and global fashion and film landscapes. The highlight of the awards ceremony was the recognition of the best CANIFFF Fashion film of 2022, which was awarded to "HAUNTED BY LOVE”.
