What: "An Ode to Fashion in Film" during TIFF 2023 was a milestone celebration, marking our most spectacular event to date. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Lavelle Rooftop, with panoramic views of downtown Toronto, over 900 guests experienced an evening where fashion, film, and art converged in extraordinary ways. The event featured a live fashion film shoot, directed by the visionary Raha Euphoria in collaboration with Brave Productions, capturing the essence of the night in real time. Guests stepped into the future with an immersive holographic video booth, while the acclaimed German fashion magazine, Schön!, conducted live interviews that brought international flair to the evening.

Adding to the artistic atmosphere, mixed media artist Elyse Saunders mesmerized attendees as she brought to life a breathtaking 10’ x 8’ mural titled “An Ode to Fashion in Film,” a masterpiece that echoed the event's theme. The vibrant energy of the night was further amplified by DJ Marta, who, in collaboration with Canadian Music Week, curated a soundtrack that kept the rooftop buzzing. The highlight of the evening was the presence of our distinguished Guest of Honour, TIFF Co-Founder Henk Vanderkolk, whose legacy continues to shape the world of cinema.
